The members of the Perseverance Lodge 8261 having been granted the lease to run the Dovercourt Skating Rink by Tendring District Council as a community and charity run business, since December 2010, are approaching our first birthday, yes it as been a lot of hard work over the year, but to see all the fun and enjoyment that the youth of Harwich and surrounding areas of Tendring have had and still are having proved that the decision of the lodge members was the right one to make, We are sure that should any Grand Primo or Grand Lodge Officer wish to visit this venue we are sure that they will be pleased with what we have achieved in such a sort time.
The objects of running this venue is that we will be able at the end of each year to make financial donations to local organisations and groups.

Alternative Monday evenings:
Roller Hockey and Speed Skating from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Tuesday and Wednesday evenings:
General Skating from 4.30pm to 8.00 pm, Cost £2.00 with own Skates £2.50 with Rink Skates.

Thursday evenings:
Thursday Evening is Free Skating Lessons from 6.00pm to 7.00pm

You must book this lesson with John before you can attend as spaces are limited and will be strictly dealt with on a first come bases, If you have not booked your place you will not be able to attend this session and you will be added to the waiting list and advised as and when a place becomes available.

Friday evenings:
4.30pm to 8.00pm fun night and disco cost £2.00 with own skates or £2.50 with rink skates.

Saturday and Sunday:
Open from 12 noon to 6.00pm cost with own skates £2.00 Rink Skates £3.00.

Half Term and other School Holidays opening times from 10.00am to 6.00pm.

All above events and times are subject to the weather conditions.

Children's Birthday Party's are catered for and prices on request from the Lodge Secretary.
